Prevention is better than cure! Protect your outdoor cushions, rugs, parsols and rope from dirt and stains with the fabric protector from &MOSS. This unique spray prevents dirt and grease from penetrating your outdoor textile. It also has a water-repellent effect, preventing the formation of mould. The protector is easy to use and a perfect addition after cleaning your fabrics with a fabric cleaner or when your textile simply needs a little extra protection.

How do you use the dirt and water-repellent spray?

1. Before you start, put on protective gloves and cover your work surface to prevent possible stains.
2. If the fabric is very dirty, use the fabric cleaner first to clean the textile thoroughly. The use of the fabric cleaner is not necessary for recently purchased textile products.
3. Shake the protector well and spray the fabric from a distance of about 15 cm until it is completely soaked. Do this both horizontally and vertically.
4. Then let the fabric protector soak in for at least 2 hours. Do not wipe off any excess spray.
5. Repeat the treatment and allow the textile to dry completely before using it again.
6. Treat the fabric at least twice a year with the protector for optimal protection.

After soaking, the protector needs some time. Often the protection is optimal after a few days. The heat of the sun can stimulate the treatment’s effectiveness. For optimal protection, we recommend treating the fabric with our fabric cleaner before using the textile protector. This cleans the outdoor textile deep into the fibre, making all dirt and dust disappear like magic.
