The organic shape of the teak garden table creates a cozy and playful effect in your garden. Moreover, the oval garden table has a slanted table edge. Teak is a hard wood species that originates from Southeast Asia, primarily from the tropical rainforests in Indonesia. Unfortunately, large parts of the rainforest have disappeared due to decades of deforestation. As a result, the majority of teak wood nowadays comes from special teak plantations, helping to prevent illegal logging.
An alternative to plantation teak is recycled teak. This wood comes from, for example, old buildings, railways or boats and is still of such good quality that it would be a shame not to use it. That’s why at &moss, we have chosen to use recycled teak as the basis for our entire wood collection. To show that you can make beautiful products from old materials and at the same time contribute to a better environment.
Due to its high natural oil content, teak wood garden tables require little maintenance. Therefore, a teak garden table is excellent against the weather conditions. However, we do recommend cleaning it 1 to 2 times a year with a teak cleaner. For good post-treatment, we recommend treating the table with a teak protector.
